Question
Hello,
This past weekend when baking challot for dinner, I put our (not so easily replacable) pareve bread pan in the oven. After finishing making the bread I realized my husband left our dairy pizza stone in the bottom of the oven. It was clean, but was left there while the pareve bread baked. Is the bread pan now dairy? Or is it still pareve?
Thank you!
Answer
Shalom,
Thank you for your question. The status of your parve bread pan is that it is still parve. The pizza stone being clean and dry does not expell milk vapours or taste which could be absorbed into the bread pan.
Blessings.
