Question
I have only metal doorframes in my apartment and they are quite thick. How can I affix my mezzuzahs in a kosher fashion? Can I use very strong double-sided tape?
Answer
The mezuzah must be attached in a way that makes detaching it by hand difficult (Chovat Hadar 9,8). You can attach it to a metal doorframe by using a drill and screws or by cementing it. If the tape is strong enough to make its removal difficult- that is OK too.

I have two entries to the house: the main, front entry, but the doorpost is made of irregular stones so it is impossible to affix mezuzah there - see first picture in attachment, And the house we rent. From the back we have a terras door but there is a wall so I am not sure I can affix mezuzah there with the sticky band. Can I affix them on the white part of the frame of the door? Thank you very much for your advice and help.
