Question
With the exception of Shabbat, I shave nearly every morning except for Fridays. Customarily, come Erev Shabbat I shave believing that by doing so I am honoring Shabbat. Would I be honoring Shabbat more by not shaving Erev Shabbat or does it not matter either way?
Answer
If my understanding of the question is correct, i.e. you do not shave on Friday AM but wait until closer to Shabbat to emphasize that you are shaving for the honor of Shabbat, this is a lovely custom.
