Question
Is it permissable to ship a package to a customer from my website (I’m assuming a goy) on Friday through "Next Day Service" and explicitly direct UPS that it is a "Saturday delivery"? (There is a special checkbox to fill out for Sat. delivery - otherwise it will be a Monday delivery).
Answer
It is not permissable to explicitly ask a non Jew to do melacha on Shabbat. If he does so on his own initiative its ok. Don't request the Saturday delivery.
