Of what time frame does Zechariah chapters 12,13, and 14 speak of?

The verses in Zechariah refer to the wars of Gog and Maggog associated with messianic times. Maimonides (Kings 12,2) teaches that how and when these events will occur is not clearly described by the prophets, that attempting to predict them is not a principle of faith and on the contrary contravenes the rabbinic injunction against calculating the time of redemption.
