Question
For the Sukkah walls, can I use a thick tarp wraped around a wooden frame?
Answer
Yes, tarp wrapped around a frame constitutes walls, as does even a lighter material, with the proviso that it is tight enough so that it does not flap from side to side in the wind. Even if the tarp is attachede to the frame, at the point farthest from the wood (in the middle of the wall) it should not move back and forth (that is from the inside to outside of Sukkah) more than 10 inches. If it does, another upright beam can be added and the tarp attached to it so it is more stationary.
