Question
Besides stopping, what else should a person who steals small items from corporate stores and is addicted, do? What if the person has stolen a lot over the years and cannot recall everything? Also, they must apologize to owners of large, global, corporate stores?
Answer
He must return the items or the worth of everything that he stole; apologize to the owners of those stores; sincerely accept upon himself that he will never do it again; sincerely regret and have deep remorse for what he did; actually verbalize his sin and sincere regret to God.
Yes, he must try and recall, repay and ask forgiveness as much as he can remember, and all you can do is the best you can do... True practically speaking, in corporations, it may be a little more difficult to find to whom to repay the theft and ask forgiveness, but that's what must be done. Yes, it takes bravery and fortitude, but it's definitely worth it, and you will surely feel good about it, and be a better person as a result!
