Question
Hello Rabbi,
If I were to say Modeh Ani twice as an accident, would it count as saying G-d’s name in vain because “You” is a term that refers to G-d?

Answer
ב"ה
Shalom
Saying Modeh Ani twice by mistake is not considered saying G-d's name in vain. In fact, because G-d's name does not appear in it, it can be said upon waking in the morning before even washing your hands.
