Question
I would like to try a recipe for bread. The ingredientes are corn meal, whole wheat flour but the dough is made with vegetable broth (squash or sweet potato) and not water. The broth is obtained by boiling the vegetable until they become soft enough to fall apart. Would this be considered bread? Is this mezonot or Hamotzi?
Answer
It sounds very Mezonosy to me. When you bake it. taste a bit of it (after reciting mezonos on it). If it tastes like bread, then know for the future that you should wash and make a Motzi and bencsh on it. I doubt that this will taste like a regular bread based on the recipe.
