Question
We have a breakfast of chopped fruit and sprouted wheat berries. The untreated raw wheat seeds were soaked for two days to soften and is then added to the mixture. There are 10 tablespoons (about 3/4 cup) of wheat berries to 6 apples, 4 dates, 2 bananas, 1/3 mango and some spices. The fruit is chopped fine and the seeds added at the end so you can still see (and chew) them in the mixture.
Nothing is cooked, all is raw. What bracha does it take?
Answer
It sounds like there are more apples, mango and dates (Ha’eitz) than banana and sprouted wheat (Ha’adamah). In this case, the Bracha would be Ha’eitz (on the entire mixture) before, and Borei Nefashos after (since the dates are included in the mix, and are a minority).
