Like which day we have to read, sitting or standing, facing which direction, which time etc. Thank u
Answer
ב"ה Shalom My assumption is that you are referring to the public reading of the Torah in the Bet Knesset. Moshe Rabbenu established to do public reading of the Torah on Monday, Thursday and Shabbat . This way 3 days don't pass without having a public reading of the Torah. Ezra established the custom of reading the Torah at Mincha on Shabbat. (Talmud Babba Kamma 82a) On Monday,Thursday and at Shabbat Mincha only one part of the weekly Torah reading is read, while on Shabbat morning the entire weekly reading is carried out. The reading is done standing by the Ba'al Koreh and the person receiving the aliya in the direction of the Aron Kodesh. In regard to the congregation's conduct , there are different customs. Some stand and some sit. All the best Shabbat Shalom, Chodesh Tov and Happy Chanuka
