Question
In a youthful indiscretion 25 years ago I pierced my left ear. Although I do not expect to die soon, I am wondering if this will prevent me from being buried in a Jewish cemetery. If so, what can I do?
Answer
A Jew with a pierced ear is buried after death in a Jewish cemetery. So don't worry. Busy yourself with doing good in the here and now. May you live a long and productive life.
