Question
Unfortunately, my parents died about 5 years ago. When we went to clear out their flat I took all kinds of plates ,dishes, pots etc. Some I'm not sure if they are milchik or fleishik. Am I allowed to use them, do I have to do Tvilah? I would like to use plates, pots and pirex dishes.
Answer
Most if not all of those dishes can be used, but it will be necessary to consult a Rabbi concerning each type of utensil and the way to kasher it.
