Shalom,
What is halacha on incense? Can one use myrrh gum on a incense block for purification purposes or for pleasure of the smell? I would not think that it is allowed, but someone told me is ok.

Shalom
If your intention was to the preparing the incense as it was in the Beit Hamikdash, the prohibition of the Torah applies when a person uses the ingredients as it was in the Beit Hamikdash and in the same amounts.
